“Geiko is born out of a dream I had back in 2001. That dream was for a salon of excellence. The opportunity came my way to make that dream reality and it has been an amazing experience, not least with our phenomenal success as a regional finalist winner in the L’Oreal Colour Trophy in 2007.

I joined Toni and Guy in 1997 where I completed most of my colour technician’s training and a year later was awarded Toni and Guy Employee of the Year. At this time, I was also one of the first in the UK to achieve a Colour Specialist Degree with Distinction from the L’Oreal Technical Academy in London.

My love affair with colour continues and I am constantly developing our techniques and tones to keep our clientele inspired and loyal. My quest for perfection is the ethos that the salon is built on and one shared by the entire team.”

“I have always regarded myself as being individual, never one to follow the masses. That is why it is so great to be part of Geiko, where the philosophy revolves around ‘individuality’. It is fabulous to work in an environment that stands out from the crowd and one that is always leading the way in terms of trends and techniques.

Having lived in the area for most of my life, I have inevitably worked in a variety of salons in Leamington and Warwick. I spent 8 years at Achille, where I attended numerous Toni and Guy courses in cutting and styling; one of my specialities is razor cutting. After joining Paula in late 2007, I continued my education at Bumble and bumble, a New York based company whose session and back-stage work is renowned, and gained further confidence with the razor as well as deepening my passion and knowledge of hair.

At Geiko we don’t sit back on our laurels and think we can’t continue learning and achieving. It is precisely this desire, I believe, that makes Geiko such a special environment in which to work. It is through this nurturing of knowledge and sharing of abilities that we are able to create individual hair and provide each client with a bespoke service for his/her needs.”
